Feb 23 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:

** Veris Residential  has agreed to be taken private by a consortium led by Affinius Capital and Vista Hill Partners in an all-cash deal worth $3.4 billion, including debt, the U.S. multifamily real estate investment trust said.

** Gilead Sciences will pay as much as $7.8 billion to acquire partner Arcellx in its largest deal since 2020, the biopharma company said , as it looks to strengthen its lineup of cancer treatments.

** Enhabit  said private equity firm Kinderhook Industries has agreed to buy the home health services provider and take it private in a deal worth about $1.1 billion.

** Renault  will buy out truckmaker Volvo Group's  and shipping firm CMA CGM's stakes in their new-generation electric vans joint venture Flexis, the French carmaker said.

     ** Pinion Insurance has signed a purchase agreement to acquire an E&S licensed shell company as the newly launched fronting business targets securing authorization to begin underwriting business by the end of June.

** UK chemicals company Johnson Matthey  agreed to sell its catalyst technologies business to Honeywell  for a reduced price of 1.33 billion pounds ($1.80 billion), down from the previously agreed value of 1.8 billion pound.

** Dubai-based aircraft lessor DAE Capital is closing in on a deal to buy control of leasing platform Macquarie AirFinance, two industry sources said.
